Looking for a date that’s a little different? Try going to the zoo.

Avilon Zoo

Avilon Zoo is in San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal. It’s a big place with a lot of animals, and we spent the day there like kids on a field trip. In part one we walk through the first half of the zoo, and we spend a good part of it looking for the tiger.

Tips for going

  • It’s outdoors and it gets hot: bring water, wear comfortable shoes and a cap.
  • Give it most of a day. You’ll want time to stop at the exhibits instead of rushing.
  • Read the signs. We learned a lot more than we expected, which is what part two is about.
