After a busy 2019, we made our first Christmas together a memorable one, in Hong Kong.

2019 was a very busy year for us. Personal errands kept us from going out much, so we decided to make our first Christmas together as memorable as possible, outside the country.
Christmas in Hong Kong
Hong Kong at Christmas is something else: the buildings, the lights and the crowds all dressed up for the season. We walked a lot, ate a lot and took more photos than we’ll ever post.
What we’d tell a first-timer
- Get an Octopus card on arrival; it covers the MTR, buses and the Star Ferry.
- Walk the harbourfront at night for the lights.
- Book your hotel early for Christmas week. It’s peak season.
